WATSON ROGER CUP /UNISON
CLASSIC GOLF COMPETITION – WEDNESDAY 24TH JUNE 2009

West Bradford Golf Club is the venue for the 2009 Council golf championship on Wednesday, 24 June. Golfers with an official club handicap can play for the Watson Rogers Trophy, and there will also be a competition for players who don’t have a club handicap. The prizes are being sponsored by Bradford UNISON.
The full day costs £30.50 and involves coffee and a bacon butty, nine holes of golf, then soup and sandwiches followed by 18 holes for the main competitions and a two-course evening meal. Contact the branch for more information.

LIGHTWATER VALLEY 13 AUGUST 2009

Thursday 13 August – pick up from Keighley at 8.00am (outside Witherspoons) and Bradford at 8.30am (outside the bingo hall on Nelson Street). Departure from Lightwater Valley will be 5.00pm. The cost will be £12 per person including the coach, children under 1.0 metre get free entry into Lightwater Valley but have to contribute to the coach costs at £5 per child. Singing in the Rain at the Alhambra Theatre
2 June 2009 - A special offer for UNISON members - £30.00 for two tickets. CHRISTMAS PANTO...

This will be running again after last years success – the Branch is currently in discussions with the Alhambra Theatre and negotiations are taking place on discounted tickets for UNISON members for the panto. More details on this will be available later on in the year.

AFRICAN HEART FOUNDATION FUNDRAISING EVENT
